Khawla Hamdi is a Tunisian novelist, researcher, and engineer, born on 12 July 1984 in Tunis and raised in the Bardo district. She works as a university professor in Information Technology and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, a Master’s from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne in France, and a PhD in Operations Research from the University of Technology of Troyes. Her fiction focuses on identity, faith, exile, and social justice, combining real-life experiences with an engaging narrative style. Among her most notable works are “In My Heart A Hebrew Girl (Fi Qalbi Untha ‘Ibriah)”, “Ghurbat Al-Yasameen (Exile of Jasmine)”, “An Tabqa (To Remain)”, “Ayn Al-Mafar (Where to Escape)”, “Arni Anthur Ilayk (Let Me See You)”, and the “Hajar Al-Shams” series.
