Dina Emad is an Egyptian author from Port Said who began writing fiction at the age of seven, publishing social novels on her blog as daily episodes. She studied media at the Faculty of Specific Education, Suez Canal University, and has worked as a radio presenter, as well as a writer of poetry, short reflections and quatrains that were published in Al-Ahram Al-Masa’i in the late 1990s. Since 2009 she has specialized in creating crossword puzzles, publishing several crossword books and working as a crossword editor for Al-Wafd newspaper, in addition to editing a humorous column in Al-Bostagy magazine and presenting shows on Waseet FM radio. Her novels and story collections include “The Circle”, “Plateau”, “Closed Hearts”, “Not a Virgin”, “Rizq”, “Under One Roof”, “Stolen Moments”, “Stories from the Execution Room”, “One Morning”, “His Mother’s Husband”, “After It Was Too Late” and “A Night of Love”, covering social, psychological and romantic themes.
