Adham El-Aboudi

Adham El-Aboudi is an Egyptian novelist, short story writer, journalist and lawyer, born in Luxor on 17 October 1981. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Assiut University in 2003 and has worked as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal and the State Council, as well as a member of the Arab Lawyers Union. El-Aboudi founded the Luxor Story Club and the Egyptian Intellectuals Union, and is a member of the Egyptian Writers’ Union, where he serves as rapporteur of the Story Committee. His novels include “Bab Al-Abd”, “The Saints’ Labyrinth”, “The Good Ones”, “The Guardian of Divine Love”, “What Rehana Did Not Tell”, “The Madmen’s Chronicle” and “Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi: The Abbasid Scroll”, several of which topped best-seller lists and were recognized by major Arab prizes such as the Katara Prize for Arabic Novel.
